MACSA provides services both on a drop in and enrollment basis. The agency's primary service areas are Gilroy, Central and East San Jose. Fifty percent of services are concentrated in these three areas while the remaining 50% of MACSA services are delivered to clients residing in all other cities in Santa Clara County.

MACSA is recognized for setting up service centers in the heart of very low income communities in partnership with schools, city parks, recreation facilities, correctional institutions, art centers, and libraries.
